Dodge is a skill that allows crawlers to avoid attacks more easily.
Description
At level 10: Permanent Deflection buff, causes both magical and physical missiles to be 50% less accurate
At level 15: Mordecai mentions that if Donut can get the skill over 15, she will be almost impossible to hit. [1]
This skill can be trained in a Training Room by having the four armed trainer lash out at the crawler with whips. [2]
The opposite skill to Dodge is the Catcher Skill. [3]
Guild
The Desperado Club has a Dodge Guild in the First Floor Guild Hallway. It is only accessible to crawlers with a Dodge Skill of Seven or better. [4]
Skill level costs:
- Raise to 8: The first session with the guild is free
- Raise to 9: Cost 20,000 gold
- Raise to 10: Cost 250,000 gold [5]
Story
Book 2
One of the AI recommended classes for Donut on the Third Floor is the Artist Alley Mogul Class. One of the benefits of the class is access to the Dodge Skill. While Donut does not pick this class as her permanent class, she does pick it as her class for the third floor as part of her Character Actor Skill for the third floor. She gets the Dodge Skill as one of the randomly selected perks with the class selection for the floor. [6]
Book 3
Donut chooses to train her Dodge Skill in the Training Room when they get a Personal Space. [3] She trains it two days in a row and levels up to 7, allowing her access to the Dodge guild in the Desperado Club. [7] She goes into the guild, raising the skill to 8 for free, but chooses not to pay to raise it higher. [5]
