Mongo

Mongo is a Dungeon-generated pet owned by Princess Donut. He is the mascot and royal steed of the Royal Court of Princess Donut.

Description

Appearance

Carl describes baby Mongo as a "a chicken dinosaur thing with pink, downy feathers”, around seven inches tall. He had “two tiny forearms instead of wings, a long, serpentine tail, a beaked mouth, within which was a row of sharp, tiny teeth.

At level 15, he is the height of a pony, coming up just below Carl's shoulders, and about 13 feet long with about half of his length being his tail. He has red and blue feathers.[1]

Despite being a Velociraptor mongoliensis, Mongo (like others of his species) is much larger than his species was originally. This is because the designers of the Dungeon chose to model their version after the pop-culture version popularized by Jurassic Park.

Kiwi gave birth to two babies, which are part raptor, part bear, part Scolopendra magic. The AI gives them the species name 'Ursensus', and the designation of a legendary creature. The babies have an intelligence level high enough that they cannot be used as pets. The babies have four legs, and little stubs of wings as well. They were covered in a generous crop of wet, brown fur. Their heads have distinctly Mongo-like features, despite there being no feathers at all.
