Story
Book 1
Carl receives a level up notification (Pugilism Level 4) after fighting the Goblins on the First Floor. This is the first skill Carl levels up in the Dungeon.[3] After just over three days of training and gaining the Powerful Strike Skill from the Enchanted Toe Ring of the Splatter Skunk, his "bare knuckle" attacks deal as much damage as any attack with an unenchanted weapon.[4]
At the beginning of the Second Floor, Carl opens his Boss Box from the fight with the Ball of Swine and gets a Cheat Code Potion. This potion bumps his Pugilism Skill from a 7 to a 10. [5]
Book 2
Carl is offered the Prizefighter Class which gives a +3 to the Pugilism Skill. [6]
Book 3
When Carl goes to use the Training Room for the first time, Mordecai suggests training his Smush Skill. However before Carl can do his training, he reads the goodbye message from Brandon Andrews. He switches to his Bare Knuckles Skill to train instead. [7] Carl decides to train his Bare Knuckles skill two days in a row to see if it would level up and it does. [8]
Book 7
Carl receives a Have You Goddamned Figured Out How To Use This In Conjunction With the Fucking Voodoo Book Yet? Jesus Christ I Can Only Help You So Much box from the Hey Larry, can I borrow your chainsaw? Achievement and receives a Skill Potion that brings his Pugilism Skill up to 15 [9]
