“Why did you do that? To get the experience? She would’ve healed. Your own daughter? Jesus fuck, lady.”
“You don’t know,” she said to me, spitting the words. “You don’t know anything. You didn’t get the whole story.” [2]
Maggie My is a crawler from Earth and an ex-wife to Frank Q. After her daughter Yvette's death, she swears vengeance upon Carl and Donut and focuses her efforts on killing them rather than surviving.
Description
Before the transformation, Maggie My was a plainclothes detective for the Seattle Police Department. [3] She had two daughters: one from a previous relationship, and Yvette with her ex-husband Frank Q.
Appearance
When Carl and Donut first meet Maggie, she is an athletic white woman around forty years-old, with close-cropped brown hair. She wore a leather jacket and shining (likely enchanted) metallic pants and boots, and carried a gun. She has five Player Killer Skulls next to her name. [1]
Story
History
She had another daughter with her previous husband, who was killed when the dungeon was created.
The night of the Collapse, Yvette ran away. Maggie and Frank had been separated for 5 years. She was picked up by Maggie's little brother, a deputy cop. He called Frank Q to come get her, and all four of them were in a parking lot when it happened. Yvette ran into the Dungeon, Maggie tried to chase after her but Frank pushed her. Maggie's brother started fighting Frank, and Frank eventually killed him, earning himself the That's the Spirit Box which contained the Enchanted Night Wyrm's Ring of Divine Suffering. [3]
Book 1
With 2 Days 12 Hours remaining until the First Floor collapses, Maggie My has already killed (5) other crawlers. She, Frank Q, and Yvette follow Carl and Donut to a safe room where, after discovering that they can't interact with the sleeping crawlers, they plan a guerilla attack. As Maggie and Yvette hide in the women's restroom, Frank distracts the Royal Court of Princess Donut with a detailed lie and offers Carl a set of too-small pants. When Carl gamely attempts to put the pants on, Frank and Maggie attempt to shoot him and Donut, only to be frozen in place. Carl and Donut flee after placing a trap on a rat corpse, and receive the Bitchmeat! Achievement as a result.[1][4]
Frank and Maggie appear again on Death Watch Extreme Dungeon Mayhem as the surprise guests for VIPs Carl and Donut. The show gives a recap of Frank and Maggie's journey through the dungeon. They enter the dungeon with a young girl. Their Game Guide is a Mind Horror who recommend they kill as many crawlers as possible to survive. [2]
The scene cuts to the teenage girl injured on the ground, but doesn't show how it happened. The girl cries that she's in pain, and Maggie strangles her until she dies. The scenes then jump around to show Frank and Maggie in a large group and introduce the teenager as their daughter Yvette. This group includes Rebecca W. When the group has their backs turned, Maggie and Frank open fire on the group. Yvette cries and asks them to stop. Maggie goes as far as to put a gun in Yvette's hand and tries to get her to kill a dying man. Frank and Maggie continue to hunt down other crawlers. Maggie gets a ring with a stealth enchantment. [2]
The last part of the clip shows the ambush in the safe room on the First Floor, followed by Carl adding the Goblin Dynamite to the rat corpse. Frank, Maggie, and Yvette find the corpse and Frank pulls the lit stick of dynamite out, dropping it immediately. It goes off, injuring Yvette and cutting Frank's right hand off. [2]
“You didn’t have to kill her,” I said when the audience finally silenced. “Why did you do that? To get the experience? She would’ve healed. Your own daughter? Jesus fuck, lady.”
“You don’t know,” she said to me, spitting the words. “You don’t know anything. You didn’t get the whole story.”
Carl and Donut are horrified by the situation. Maestro attempts to lead a Q&A session about the situation, but isn't very good and the segment is a dud. To wrap up the show, Frank and Maggie are given a Legendary Level 15 Find Crawler Skill potion. [2]
Book 3
Imani mentions that Chris Andrews knew Carl and Donut were south of the Meadow Lark group.
Carl finds Frank Q drinking in the Desperado Club. He asks him where Maggie is, and he replies that they split up on the second floor after they had a fight over whether to sell the Find Crawler Skill Potion. They split up because Maggie still wanted revenge on Carl and Donut. Maggie left the Third Floor race and class selection before Frank could see what she chose. [3]
Upon reading the description for the Enchanted Night Wyrm's Ring of Divine Suffering with the Marked For Death Skill, Carl realizes with horror why Maggie strangled Yvette. Due to Carl being marked but escaping, Yvette couldn't heal and was badly injured by Carl's trap. Yvette was in pain from the explosion and so Maggie killed her own daughter. [3]
Carl then talks to Frank about what happened right as the crawl started. (See History Section). [3] Carl asks if she took the potion and Frank doesn't know.
Book 4
She picked Infiltrator as a race and managed to take over Chris Andrews body, after which she tracked down Carl but Donut used her Hole Spell to drop her into the subterranean level below. Just before level collapse she confronted Carl again, he managed to use a potion to phase through rock and pull her out of Chris's head. Maggie then attempted to burrow into Carl, but he used the Double-Healing Potion which caused Maggie to burst out of his neck with her health in the red and Poisoned pulsing over her. Before Carl could finish Maggie off, Mongo grabbed the worm, and Carl ordered him to chew. Before passing out, Carl witnessed Mongo tearing apart and devouring the Scree worm, killing Maggie. Mongo barfed up Maggie's corpse a few times, giving Donut the chance to seize her extensive inventory. Carl ordered the protesting Donut to give Maggie's inventory to Chris.[6]
She had a liaison who helped her cheat, a Caprid, when she tried to explain they blocked her chat.
