The Dungeon Codex appears to be a full, detailed inventory of the Dungeon's mobs (including spawn rates), bosses, items, and spells.[2][3] Dungeon Administrators and Game Guides can access the codex using their Heads-Up Display (HUD), but Syndicate laws restrict how much information production company personnel can share with active crawlers.[4][3]
When a crawler crafts a unique item, the item and its recipe are added to the Dungeon Codex.[5] Interestingly, while the codex may include potion ingredients, it does not include detailed instructions for potion brewing, as Mordecai has been chasing the exact recipe for a Charm Animal Potion for fifty cycles despite having had access to the codex.[6]
