Clay-ton is is a Cretin NPC employed as a body guard at the Desperado Club. He later joins the Royal Court of Princess Donut as a mercenary.
Appearance
Clay-ton is a 7' foot tall, granite-colored rock monster dressed in a tuxedo.[1][2]
Story
On the Fourth Floor, Clay-ton is assigned as Elle McGibbons's only private security guard inside the Desperado Club. He watches Elle and Carl at the bar after Donut commands the Sledge and Bomo to take her dancing.[1]
When Carl is forced to temporarily give up the Gate of the Feral Gods at the beginning of the Sixth Floor, Quasar negotiates a deal to ensure that the artifact is returned on the Ninth Floor.[3] The deal gives the Royal Court a Mercenary Quarters upgrade and appoints Bomo, the Sledge, Clay-ton, and Very Sullen as Mercenaries, with the ability to regenerate at the start of each floor should they die. Carl assigns Clay-ton to protect Chris Andrews on the Hunting Grounds.[2]
