Book 3

Carl wins the Prize Carousel in a platinum Fan Box. As Chaco is starting up the event, he is attacked by Mordecai. Mordecai is put in time-out for seven days for attacking in a Safe Room.

After Mordecai disappears, Chaco refuses to answer any questions about what his history with Mordecai is and insists they have to continue with the show. Chaco is disoriented and can't talk about what happened. He isn't nearly as enthusiastic when describing the prizes as when the game started.
