Book 1
Carl and Donut receive the You Monster! and War Criminal Achievement on the First Floor after launching a cart laden with explosives and Hobgoblin Pus into the Goblin War Chieftan's boss room... which also happened to contain a lot of babies, pregnant goblins, and elderly goblins.[4]
Carl thinks about this achievement the first time he says his mantra, "You're not going to break me."[1]

Katia Grim asks how Carl and Donut got their Desperado Pass Tattoo and Carl quickly changes the subject. [5]
