Vinata is a Naga princess and member of the ruling class of the Nagas in Syndicate space. She is also the warlord of her faction in the Ninth Floor Faction Wars.
Appearance
Her coloring is a brilliant, glossy white with a hint of golden scales along the edge of her wide, cobra hood. She has six arms, and her eyes are solid red with no hint of pupils or slits, unlike most Nagas. She is also significantly larger than other nagas Carl encounters.
She wears a golden breastplate, on which is embossed a tree branch with a single flower upon it.
Story
History
The Naga are assumed to be poor after hosting their financially ruinous Dungeon Crawler World season. Vinata is set to inherit the Naga system after Faction Wars (game).
During the Boss battle announcement in the temple of Khepri, the System AI announces to the world that instead of being destitute, the Naga have been amassing wealth and were about to "pull a Fred Johnson" and seize all the ships for themselves. As a result of the announcement, all the shipyard owners move to foil the plan. [1]
Book 7
The Blood Sultanate has a history of "mysteriously" escaping from their castle during Faction Wars (game) and hiding out until the end of the game. They do this by having one of the body guards of the Warlord worship a light god, who summons them to a temple in Club Vanquisher. Typically the worshiper is one of the bodyguards who is then left in the temple to keep the element of surprise the next year. Rosetta Thagra is the one who figures out the pattern and tells the Royal Court of Princess Donut how to counteract it.
During Dungeon Crawler World: Earth, Vinata breaks with tradition and worships Khepri (a light god) herself. When Carl, Katia Grim, and Prepotente confront her in the temple, she is given a blessing by being in the presence of a god with immortality for 90 seconds. [1]
