Sepsis (or, when noted above a target's head, Septic) is a powerful health-sapping debuff similar to but faster than "Poisoned". The debuff staggers the target and rapidly reduces the target's health until death. It cannot be stacked. Unlike poison, Sepsis can be healed with a Heal Spell or Healing Potion.[1][2][3]
Story
Book 1
Donut gains a 15% chance to inflict Sepsis with all attacks after equipping the Enchanted Crown of the Sepsis Whore on the First Floor.[4] Donut shoots a Magic Missile at a Bad Llama and inflicts the Sepsis debuff. [1] Carl notes that when low-level Scatterers received the debuff, they would try to flee but ultimately collapsed and died after a few steps.[2]
On the Second Floor, Carl and Donut fight a group of Danger Dingo riding Kobolds. Donut inflicts a Septic debuff. [5]
