Appearance
On the 2nd Floor of Carl's crawl, Remex appeared to be a zombified, featherless Skyfowl. His eyes were black, swirling orbs. Hazy black smoke rose from the body. Ethereal, worm-like wisps swirled about the creature, like a parody of the full wings he once had. [1]

In this iteration of the Dungeon, Remex is the first husband of Miss Quill. [2]
He calls himself a "tenner", implying he made it to the tenth floor. He also tells Carl it is a good thing to die on floor three and not go further down.
Later Carl learned that Remex was an infamous user of the Zerzura Spell, using the spell to transport this army down each floor with him. This strategy ultimately lead to his ruin when it unexpectedly moved his army from the sixth to the ninth floor. Afterwards he devoted himself to trying to free his son, the exit deal he made was so unusual it was studied by legal students.
He was killed by an orc years ago. He was turned into a level one Soul Leach Capacitor by Miss Quill after dying, became a bereft minion after Quill died. In life he was a dark cleric.
