Pustule is a hobgoblin NPC and the proprietor of the Hobgobs and Boom Sticks in the Silk Road at the Desperado Club. She sold hoblobers and goblin dynamite to Carl.
Appearance
Pustule is a large, muscular goblin about six feet tall. Carl notes that she is remarkably ugly. On her face is an open, oozing sore, leaking black and green ooze onto her threadbare pink tee that shows a unicorn with sunglasses. She smells like rot. Carl notes she has a remarkably feminine voice. [1]
Story
Book 2
Mordecai takes Carl and Donut to the Silk Road on their first visit to the Desperado Club. She tells him the difference between Goblin Smoke Bombs and Hobgoblin Smoke Curtains. He asks about round explosives and she sells him some Hobgoblin Hob-Lobbers. [1]
Before they go back to investigate the administrative building in the Medium Skyfowl Settlement at night, Carl stops in again and purchases impact-detonated Hob-Lobbers and Hobgoblin Smoke Curtains. [2]
Trivia
- Pustule also says: “I once watched my mother bite the head off of a vorpal muskrat. She said she did it to teach the warlord a lesson, but I’m pretty sure there was another reason.” She was friends with Tiff the muskrat. [1]
