Everyone had to work. That was the rule. If you wanted to live in New Queen Anne, you had to work. Everyone was afraid and overwhelmed. But they still worked. That meant fishing, foraging, tilling, or building.[1]

The settlement of New Queen Anne was founded in the aftermath of the Transformation, and is located near the Puget Sound in the remains of Seattle, WA. It is nestled against the remains of a bridge and near a hill.[2]

It consists of at least (4) dogs and (74) human Natives, including (5) juveniles, a single infant, (4) dentists, and Tarik. There are more than thirty tents in total and the beginnings of new wooden structures, as well as several two- and four-wheeled open top vehicles, at least one electric light, and the ability to play music in at least one tent. When the weather improves, the settlement plans to plant crops.[2]

Residents sleep on inflatable mattresses and sit on plastic chairs scavenged from yards. Rations are distributed each night.[2]

Story

Beatrice, Brad, and Gravy Boat settled in New Queen Anne for a month or so before Sadir and Gennrik came to collect Gravy Boat.[2]
