Meadow Lark Elder Care Facility

She eyed the building next to her. It was the back wall of the Meadowlark Elder Care facility. A light was on in the kitchens, suggesting some of the staff were up, working. Probably the brothers.[1]

The Meadow Lark Elder Care Facility was a nursing home in Wenatchee, WA. It was destroyed during the Transformation.[2]

Story

Meadow Lark's night staff was forced to evacuate all (250) residents shortly before the transformation because Agatha set a fire in an adjacent alleyway, and it spread to the building's cafeteria. Dozens of local police officers and firefighters arrived to extinguish the fires and share blankets with the freezing residents.[2]

After the transformation, most of the emergency responders took off running, but enough survivors remained for a Dungeon Entrance to populate in the street. Agatha promptly pushed her cart into it, transforming the stairwell into a ramp. The stairs were warm, and the only alternative was leaving residents to die in the freezing cold of the surface. Meadow Lark's staff and the remaining emergency responders began to evacuate the residents into the Dungeon, where they formed the Meadow Lark party.[2]
