You are nothing but livestock, and livestock exists to be culled. Everyone watching right now doesn’t care how this moment came to be, just that it’s here. There’s not a regulation in the galaxy that will change that fact. When I’m done with this hunt, I will take my place in the birthing hall of Hive Home two, and I will birth a thousand nymphs, all of whom will be born with the memory of this moment, of your slaughter, yet not a single one will care because you will be nothing but a faceless blip, one of thousands.” -- Vrah[1]

The Hive Home System is the Mantises main star system in Syndicate space.[2] Its ruling entity and royal family is the Burrowers.[3]

History

Long before the first Syndicate nations spread across space, the Hive Home System housed production facilities designed to create Macro AIs.[2] When Mantises moved into the system and discovered these abandoned, antique facilities, they "did what any responsible people would do when they come across alien technology they don’t understand. They turned it on to see what would happen."[4] As a result, a Macro AI was formed.[2]

The Mantises turned the original testing facility into an amusement park, which is most likely Fantasy Hunter Camp.[2]

As the Burrowers control these production facilities, the Burrowers and Mantises have long been at the forefront of experimenting with and modifying Macro AIs.[5][6]
