GumGum is a level 5 Orc living in the Overcity. She asked Carl and Donut for help with the Sex Workers Who Fell from the Heavens Quest.
Description
GumGum is described as a older muscular orcish woman, similar to Agatha in appearance. Her skin color is different from Maestro. She is wearing a medieval-style shirt covered in blood. [1]
GumGum is motivated to help the sex workers based on her own family experience. Her mother was a sex worker who was stabbed and no one came into the alleyway at night to help her. [2]
Story
Book 2
GumGum first approaches Carl and Donut in the One Eyed Narwal after they complete the Show Must Go On Quest. She asks for help and Mordecai tells her to fuck off. He doesn't want Carl and Donut to do anymore Quests on this floor.
Carl ignores Mordecai and sneaks down to talk to her after he assumed Mordecai went to bed.
Look, kid. Let me give you some advice. I want this to sink deep into your thick skull. You can’t save them all. The people running this, they know who you are. They will always be baiting you. Worry about yourself first. If you truly want to help others, your best bet is to get as strong and as deep as possible. Mordecai [1]
Carl and Donut find her in the outskirts of Medium Skyfowl Settlement while she's cleaning up a pile of bodies. She asks for their help, giving them the Sex Workers Who Fell from the Heavens Quest.[1]
Later, the group runs into an alley in and finds Vincente standing over her body with three Krasue. [3] Carl remarks that due to her injuries she was most likely killed by the Krasue. Her corpse contain the Gate Pass and Mysterious Letter.[2]
Salvatore admits to torturing GumGum before killing her to get the name of the wearer of the Enchanted Anklet of the Fallen Oak, Donut. [4]
