“They were my sisters and cousin. All five of them died in seconds. It happened so fast. I was with my other cousin, and we barely got away.” -- Daniel Bautista re: lemur attack (Book 2, Chapter 23)
Once an attraction at Grimaldi's Traveling Circus on the third floor, Former Circus Lemurs were transformed into knife-throwing mobs by Scolopendra's curse.
AI Description
Former Circus Lemur – Level 8
Grimaldi’s Traveling Circus was one of the Over City’s favorite attractions before that fateful day so long ago. Hundreds of years later, the feral and transformed descendants of that circus still stalk the ruins, seeking out adults and children alike to dazzle and entertain.
And by dazzle and entertain, we mean devour the flesh from their bones and use their remains as armor.
Grimaldi’s Amazing Juggling Lemurs were one of the circus’s key attractions. Children from all over the realm would laugh and clap as they watched these funny little creatures juggle all manner of items, from balls to pins to knives.
You can probably guess where this is going.[1]
Description
The red-furred lemurs wear black and red-painted human skulls to cover their own furless, skinless faces and bulbous blood-shot eyes. Their bandoliers contain six or more throwing knives.[2]
An unnamed stealth ability makes them invisible on a crawler's minimap until the crawler actually lays eyes on them.[2] They appear to travel in groups and either stake out high vantage points, waiting for unsuspecting targets, or ride along on artillery giraffes that then fling the lemurs like bombs.[3]
