Enchanted Trollskin Shirt of Pummeling

“That shirt is one of the best under-armor garments for tanking... Finding it was a lucky break. This is something that would be in a Platinum or Legendary box.” --Mordecai[1]

The Enchanted Trollskin Shirt of Pummeling is magical under-armor for melee fighters and tanks: it buffs health regeneration and makes the wearer immune to melee damage debuffs. This item can be upgraded.

It is a form-fitting short-sleeve shirt that feels cool to the touch and is made of troll skin.[2]

AI Description

Enchanted Trollskin Shirt of Pummeling.
The wearer of this shirt gains +7 to the Regeneration skill. In addition, all melee-based damage debuffs such as Stun, Knockback, Disarm, and Out-of-Breath are negated. The shirt is also quite stylish. Maybe a little too stylish. Unlike most monster-skin apparel items, this shirt will not grant a negative reaction amongst trolls. In fact, lady trolls might just want to haul you away for some one-on-one time if they see you in this.[3]

Story

Book 1

Carl receives the basic Trollskin Skin Shirt in a Gold Apparel Box for the Why Aren't You Wearing Pants? Achievement after entering the Dungeon in only his leather jacket, boxers, and Bea's ill-fitting pink crocs.[4] He immediately puts the shirt on, and it soon protects him from Rot Stickers "Take Down" effect.

Book 3

SPOILERS FOR BOOK 3
On the Fourth Floor, Carl gets a Scroll of Upgrade from a Bronze Boss Box for killing Neighborhood bosses on the Nightmare Express and it gives the Trollskin Shirt a +3 Dexterity Bonus.[5]
