Edict is the last male Mantis left in The Hunting Grounds, he attacks Bomo and Carl in the saferoom in order to be teleported to a group of mobs that he knows will kill him.
He acted as the Dark Hives official accountant and trader, he was contracted to provide equipment to the Burrowers on the ninth floor.
