Dwarven Battery Fabricator is a crafting item that allows crawlers to produce and charge Dwarven Batteries. The batteries are about the size and shape of bricks. [1] Automatons are known for running a long time before needing a new battery, and are much more efficient than Soul Crystals. [1] The fabricator is about the size of a microwave. [1]
Store Description
Store descriptions are written by the store proprietors, in this case, written by Limp Richard.
Battery Fabricator.
I don’t really know how this thing works. It was taken from a dwarven automaton factory. You pour a handful of mana potions in, stick one of these metal blocks in, and a charged battery comes out on the other side. Comes with a box of 50 of the battery things. Price not negotiable.[1]
Charging Dwarven Batteries
Each battery required four full mana potions to fully charge. Once charged, the batteries last a very long time. It only takes 5 minutes to fully charge a battery. [2]
Story
Book 3
Carl and Donut met Limp Richard at station #83 soon after arriving on the fourth floor.[3] Before they set out onto the tracks for the first time to explore, they stop by his general store. Carl notes his Dwarven Battery Fabricator but doesn't want to trade for it just yet. [1] Later, Carl returns to the store and trades his remaining books, and a jug of Moonshine, for Richard's Dwarven Battery Fabricator.[2]
At station 75, Carl charges 12 batteries using the fabricator. He pulls an additional 40 Dwarven Batteries from the Interdiction Auxillary Railway Repair Carts. [2]
