Cave Mudge Bonkers (or "Bonkers") are a Fourth Floor mob that can be found on the Yellow Line.[1]

These odd, war-like creatures are said to have once been a star-faring nation, but something happened to cause them to regress back to the stone age. Probably too much reality TV. Don’t let those skinny legs fool you. When these guys get to bonkin’, they can be pretty darn quick.[2]
Description
Bonkers are gray-skinned, pig-like, corpulent monsters wobbling on thin legs. Their heads are topped with wisps of oily black hair, and feature black beady eyes and shark-like mouths. They have no necks and stand at approximately 4' 6" (1.37m) tall. They are armed with wooden clubs studded with nails.[1]
When killed, they drop their clubs, a few gold coins, and occasionally a liver (labeled as an alchemical supply).[1]

The Royal Court of Princess Donut spends a bit of time at the start of the Fourth Floor farming the Cave Mudge Bonkers by shooting them while standing on the platforms, but quickly move on when they realize they couldn't really level up that way. [1]
Speculation
- Given that the entire Iron Tangle is a political parody, these are most likely a jab at the Tuskling or Skull Empire.
