Cascadia

"Now get out there and kill, kill, kill."

Cascadia is the lead engineer and current executive producer of Dungeon Crawler World: Earth.[1] She makes the overly enthusiastic daily announcements.

Description

Cascadia is recently divorced, a Kua-Tin member of the Bloom, and a high-ranking Borant Corporation employee. As the lead engineer and executive producer of this season's crawl, she is responsible for managing the Dungeon and coordinating the Ninth Floor Faction Wars.[1] Zev reports to her.[2]

Although Cascadia comes across as overly perky and enthusiastic during her daily announcements, Prepotente describes Cascadia as "a nasty little woman who thinks she's smarter than everyone else."[3]

Appearance

A small kua-tin, Cascadia has long, droopy, catfish-like whiskers. Her scales have a dull sheen, and - when necessary - she wears a Kua-Tin Rebreather over her gills. She smells a little bit like the whitefish and spinach-flavored cat food Donut used to eat on Earth.[2]

As the Faction Wars approach, she is increasingly overwhelmed and stressed; as she says, "I am on a tight schedule and am one crisis shy of pulling the failsafe, which would kill us all." In the same scene, she physically appears in Carl's space and dares him to attack her.[2]
