Apito

Apito is the Oak Mother, the Mother of all Gods. She is the wife of Taranis. She is the founder of the Butcher's Masquerade and created the peace seal that is a part of the party.

Lore

She is worshiped by the Elves who have several stores about her including that to maintain the path to heaven her angels must remain free and alive and that she once called the skyfowl blessed. Their is also an apocryphal myth that says that only the angels are blessed, that people must stop any violence against angels and if it continues she will destroy all the worlds. [1]

The Oak Fell is an antichrist-like figure in her mythology and worshipers of Apito revile anyone who might be associated with the Oak Fell. [2]

Apito's vision of paradise or heaven is referred to as "Plantation". [2]

From Salvatore:

“The angel, our master, prepares us for the end of days,” Salvatore squealed. “He has almost achieved all his tasks. We are prepared to blossom on Her. We, the 201st Security Group, are prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice to protect the angel, who in turn works toward Apito’s vision of the Plantation. Apito warns us of the great beast who yearns to unravel the heavens and kill all the gods. And now, this great deceiver, this devourer of all that is holy, has a name. She is Donut, the Oak Fell. The Death Upon Us All. She Who Ends. And with the help of my brothers and sisters, I will…”[2]

From the Enchanted Repeating Crossbow of the Scavenger Mother of Mothers description:

It is said that the long-forgotten goddess Nekhebit is both jealous and terrible. When the elf mothers chose to abandon Nekhebit and instead worship Apito, the Oak Goddess, it is written Nekhebit grew enraged. The mighty vulture goddess blamed the male-dominated high elf court for causing her worshippers to stray. As a result, she cursed their seed, thus creating what is today known as the Fae Diaspora. There are dozens of elf and fairy breeds, all of whom may trace their lineage back to the early high elf court, whose cursed offspring sowed the universe. [3]
